Whitney Longstaff

As a Principal, Whitney leads Medlior’s Health Technology Assessment (HTA) services, as well as a number of Evidence Generation projects. Her combination of industry and public payer experience brings a well-informed perspective to all of her projects.

Whitney has over ten years of health outcomes research experience. She has worked in HTA and Market Access roles across the UK and Ireland, including as National Health Economics Lead for Daiichi Sankyo UK & Ireland, and as the HTA Team Leader for Pfizer UK’s Oncology portfolio. In these roles, she oversaw the development, adaptation and implementation of value propositions, local market access initiatives, and data generation projects to meet customer needs and achieve commercial targets. Prior to working in the pharmaceutical industry, Whitney worked as a Technical Lead in the Technology Appraisals team at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) in the UK.

As a Chancellor’s Scholar, Whitney obtained a BHSc (Hons.) from the University of Calgary. She went on to obtain an MSc. in International Health Policy from the London School of Economics & Political Science, where her dissertation focused on modelling infectious disease in economic evaluation.
