Marg is a health research professional who brings a deep understanding of the Canadian market access environment, and can navigate the requirements and nuances of health technology reimbursement submissions and the research supporting them. This has been developed through extensive experience leading health economic and other research to support market access in a wide range of therapeutic areas, with increasing responsibility in contract research at OptumInsight, ICON Research and IMS Health.
Marg’s substantial experience includes cost-effectiveness model development and adaptations for Canada and other countries (Australia, US, UK, Taiwan); budget impact analyses for national health technology assessment as well as public and private formularies; evidence synthesis (targeted and systematic review and network meta-analysis); health utility measurement, including patient-reported outcome measure plan for trial design; analysis of observational and prospectively collected data; and trial-based economic evaluations.
